Working with this company could not have gone better. The rep they sent out to give us a quote was knowledgeable, friendly and honest. We are new homeowners and I think another company could have totally taken advantage of that. He gave us the most logical and cost effective approach for our situation. He focused on what was necessary and steered us away from what wasn’t. Scheduling a date for the work was very easy. The workers showed up on time and finished earlier than they said they would. Overall, an excellent experience. Would highly recommend.

Recently I had Charter Oak to remove asbestos in a small kitchen area. I found they are very friendly, easy to work with and willing to go extra miles to help customers. I am building a new house right now and wishing all other subcontractors are like Chart Oak, my life would be much easier as a GC. Highly recommend Charter Oak.

I was remodeling a bathroom in an old home in Ivoryton , CT, about 5 years ago. The Clients neighbor would come over for coffee & chat with me about the renovation that I was doing and the subject of Lead & Asbestos abatement came up and she mentioned that her husband worked for an Environmental Abatement company.... My parents who have an older home had asbestos pipe wrapping on their steam pipes... I knew my father was looking to have the asbestos removed safely and had heard the nightmare stories of high costs and poor workmanship... Needless to say, I got the contact info from the neighbor for her husbands company, they went out and reviewed the scope of work and came to terms on work to be done, all in complete compliance with State & Federal guidelines for asbestos abatement. The project went smoothly and for a fair & reasonable fee. Since then I have not hesitated to refer Charter Oak Environmental to friends & family myself. Being a remodeling contractor myself, I have since used Charter Oak Environmental for a number of projects where mold was an issue and needed to be removed safely. I have also consulted with Charter Oak Environmental for a number or projects with potential asbestos abatement and have been advised to proceed with correct processes to ensure safe handling and care of the Clients property during any of the abatement process if required. I will not hesitate to refer and recommend Charter Oak Environmental to any one needing any of the following: Asbestos, Lead, mold abatement, dry basement systems, & radon remediation.
